| Bonding |
|
Bonding is used to repair chipped, fractured, discolored or crooked teeth, close small gaps between teeth, and/or change the shape of teeth. Tooth-colored composite resin is applied to the tooth. The resin is hardened (cured) with a curing light and then shaped, contoured, and polished to give a cosmetic and natural appearance. Bonding can usually be completed during a single dental visit and is often used for patients in their teens. |
